The North Shore Center's Youtheatre Program offers curriculum-based productions that support the Illinois State Goals for Learning in the Fine Arts, Language Arts, and Social Studies for grades K through 12. Since 1980, more than one million school children have experienced live theater, music and dance through the Youtheatre Program. Over 200 schools from the Chicago Metropolitan area participate each year.
