Centre East SHOWCASE is an annual trade show of talent, attracting more than 150 performers, speakers, and educational enrichment programs throughout a two-day conference. Through this event, it is our goal at Centre East to provide an opportunity not only for entertainers to present their talents to potential audiences, but also for attendees to observe the wide array of talents available for their next event.
Every year, the lobby of the North Shore Center of the Performing Arts is converted into the SHOWCASE Exhibit Hall, an area which features 120 booths for touring artists and companies, artist representatives, booking agencies, presenting groups, public speakers, and vendors from across the nation interested in meeting presenting organizations. In addition, during the two-day exhibition, SHOWCASE features over 30 LIVE performances on the Centre East stage.
SHOWCASE proudly continues to attract over 800 arts programmers, educators, and event planners, helping to keep the arts alive in Chicagoland schools and neighborhoods.
